The feature will allow users to embed Instagram profile on website such as blogs with a miniature version of their profiles.

To embed an Instagram profile onto your website, simply go to the profile that you want to embed. Click the 3 dots, or the circle cog icon if it is your personal account, to the top right of the profile. This will bring up a small list of options. To the bottom of the list, click the embed option. This will bring up a code, copy the code and simply paste it into the page you would like the profile to display. This will generate a mini version of the Instagram post grid feed where anyone visiting your website can view and also click on to access your post history.
“It will prove helpful for bloggers, journalists, and content creators, making it easier for them to attract more people to their Instagram profiles,” said Beebom about the new ability to embed Instagram profile on website.
Users can also embed other creators’ Instagram profiles on a website.
“You’ve been able to embed an Instagram photo or Instagram video into a website for many years now,” explained head of Instagram Adam Mosseri explained. “This extends on that idea and allows you to embed a miniature version of your Instagram profile on a website. Maybe you want to showcase your Instagram content on a website somewhere or link to someone else’s.”
This feature is currently only available in the U.S.

- Instagram reels visual replies
Instagram also revealed a feature letting users reply to comments on posts with Reels. They’ll be able to select the Reels button to create a video reply, which will appear as a sticker. The feature, copied from TikTok, is highly recommended for content creators.
“The new feature is similar to TikTok’s video replies, which allow users to reply to comments on their content with video responses. TikTok rolled out the feature last year to give users a way to offer more context about their videos and answer questions,” said Yahoo! Finance on TikTok video replies.
- Playback year-in-review 2021
The new playback year-in-review feature will show users their top 10 stories of 2021. “Users will also get an option to edit the stories, so they can post what suits them best. The feature, however, is a short-lived one and will only be available for users until December 31,” according to Beebom on the newly released Instagram story ideas.
“The feature leverages the platform’s Stories Archive, so users can customize and select up to 10 stories to share with their followers. To be eligible for this feature, users need to have posted more than three stories this year or have Stories Archive turned on.”
- Stories up to 60 seconds
The videos will no longer split into another video after 15 seconds. Many users are reporting relief at this as they’ve been complaining about it for a long time.
